Consideration of the mission report of the Special Rapporteur on human rights and the environment in Madagascar (A/HRC/34/49/Add.1, dated 6 March 2017)

In his mission report to Madagascar, we note that the Special Rapporteur establishes the link between trafficking in precious woods, mining concessions, corruption and violence against the local population.
