We are delighted to welcome the Director of La Alianza Guatemala on May 21 and 22 and are organizing a conference in collaboration with CETIM.
¡Ni una más! Access to justice for girls victims of violence in Guatemala.
Tuesday 22 May – 18h30 – UNI MAIL (MR 170) – Geneva
In this context, Carolina Escobar Sarti, an expert on human trafficking, child migration and access to justice, will present concrete cases of survivors of violence and their struggle to obtain a dignified reparation.
Among other things, she will talk about the 15 teenage girls who survived the fire of 8 March 2017 in which 41 girls perished while under State protection in the Virgen de la Asunción home.
In a country where an average of 750 femicides and 90,000 pregnancies of girls between the ages of 10 and 18 occur each year, it is time to end impunity.
We hope to see many of you at this event, and feel free to talk about it around you! (Event Facebook link)
Free admission, Spanish with simultaneous translation.
