Rise of racist and xenophobic political parties and movements

As part of this debate, we would like to draw your attention to a global scourge about which the Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism has been sounding the alarm ever since the creation of this mandate in 1993: the rise of clearly racist and xenophobic political parties and movements. Some of these have come to power in several countries on different continents, including Europe.
