We are witnessing a diversionary strategy on the part of the Chair of the Working Party, with the aim of derailing the process and diluting the content of the future treaty. The latest maneuver was an attempt to impose a new resolution aimed at call into question the original mandate of the Working Group as set out in resolution 26/9.
