19/03/2025

HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL
58th session
24 February – 04 April 2025

[Extract from the declaration]

‘Faced with an international financial system that hinders the ability of governments to guarantee the right to food and protects the interests of agribusiness and speculative financial institutions, a change of course is needed. As the report points out, this change requires a transition towards fair and sustainable agroecological practices, applying the principles of food sovereignty.’
